The 6th edition of the Award will be

Granted for the following categories / fields:

Innovative practices and processes aiming at the creation of new products and services, market space, processes and business models driven by economic objectives.

Entries may refer to: developing and/or improving sustainable food production processes that add value to primary production and that contribute to human nutrition and well-being; developing organisational processes and/or strategies to improve the efficiency of cooperatives; providing support measures for young farmers; designing, developing, evaluating and applying innovative ways in which to use ICT in agriculture; new analytical capabilities that enable cooperatives and their members to optimise their performance.

Innovative practices and processes aiming at the creation of new products and services, market space, processes and business models driven by social objectives.

Entries may refer to: integrating young farmers and women into cooperative governance bodies; any activity including social entrepreneurship, training and communication aimed at improving relations with cooperative members and/or employees; actions and projects that strive to provide farmers and their families with an opportunity to increase their standards of living, boost their participation in cultural activities, and to improve their general happiness and well-being; business strategies that lead to positive social change; using business assets for social benefits, promoting good causes and campaigns to raise awareness.

Innovative practices and processes aiming at the creation of new products and services, market space, processes and business models driven by environmental objectives.

Entries may refer to: disruptive innovations related to climate actions; innovation practices related to biodiversity, food security and waste reduction, water and waste water management, or forest and land management, animal health and the efficiency of natural resources; actions and projects to mainstream the bioeconomy and to involve primary producers; disruptive innovations related to behavioural changes in farmer members or consumers; sustainable innovations for packaging, logistics, or energy efficiency.
